The Yarra Yarra Rowing Club which is located adjacent to Princes Bridge in the heart of Melbourne is redeveloping its boat house. The current boat house will be demolished and a new four bay, three level facility will be constructed.
The club's website www.yyrc.com.au will have a regularly updated photo of the site so that members and friends of the club who live away from the river, interstate or overseas can track the progress of the project over the coming months.
It is intended that the project will be completed prior to Christmas 2005.
Yarra Yarra RC is continuing to operate its rowing programs throughout this period with the kind assistance of Banks RC and a number of other Melbourne based clubs.
The redevelopment is being conducted in conjunction with Carey Grammar School Boat Club.
