The exciting science of molecular medicine is likely soon to usher in a new era of gene therapy; treatments based on the replacement, repair or supplementation of genes. Yet progress towards this goal has been difficult and slow, and raises many contentious issues. Professor Davies and Dr Wood investigate some of the issues at our March Cafe.
