Tuesday 2nd October 2012 (NOTE CHANGE OF DATE FROM NORMAL): "The Higgs boson - problem or solution?"

Three months after the elusively shy Higgs boson was finally brought into the open, experienced Cafe speaker and amateur musician Professor Brian Foster gives us the inside view on Cern's ground-breaking and universe-shaking experiment, and what it means for the future of science.

NOTE THAT THIS CAFE IS A WEEK EARLIER THAN USUAL IN ORDER TO FIT PROF FOSTER'S BUSY DIARY. THE ONLY OCTOBER CAFE WILL BE THIS ONE ON TUESDAY 2nd OCTOBER.

Come along and join us at 7:30pm in the Science Oxford Live venue, St Clement's, Oxford. Doors open at 7pm, free access to the SO Live Discovery Zone included during the evening.
No ticket, no booking, no scientific background required.
